It stung when she cried. She'd been so strong until now, but I didnt blame her. This was pretty devistating. I leaned closer and placed my arm on her shoulder, holding her hand close to me.

I looked at her. She might have thought that, but right now all I could think of is how big of a failure I was. I felt a small tear fall down my cheek. Damnit, Soctti. Weakling. I needed to stay strong, for her.

The doctor came to the waiting room and got me after her next surgery. I was worried, yet hopeful. I stood when he walked up to me.

"Ebony's surgery went good." I said happily, "She will have one more surgery tomorrow and then she will have to stay here for a few days and then she will be let out to recover. She will be on crutches, have a soft cast on her arm, and probobly have to wear a neck brace(just for like a week). And she has tons of bruises" I said,
"Do you want to come see herrr??" i asked

I nodded, worriedly, unable to speak. I still felt terrible about this all. I followed the cheery doctor to her room and walked in slowly over to her bedside.
