i sighed as I lied there, and I heard the door open and some doctor dude came in. I opened my eyes and he gave me the details,
He said, "Well, you have a broken collarbone, fractured ankle, broken elbow, and a slight tear in your spinal cord, and a mild concussion"

I kepy my eyes closed, afraid to even look at Scotti.
The doctor said, "We need to take her into surgery in about an hour and if all goes well she should recover fine, but she has lost hearing in her right ear."

"Scotti listen to me." I whispered as a winced from a random pain,
"You did everything you could, and it's NOT your fault" I closed my eyes for a brief moment as the pain came back, I opened my eyes, "It's the idiots driver's fault, and that guy is not you."

I nodded. "I know," I said, not even autible. "I just feel so stupid." Anger rose inside of me. What kind of stupid idiot can just slam into someone and drive off, not even thinking about the lives they are changing forever? And not for the better.
